Owiny Sigoma Band (Part 2)

Brownswood Records have made 3 new tracks available via Soundcloud from the forthcoming Owiny Sigoma Band LP (scheduled for release on March 14th - check the link here for proof!).

As you may already know we are getting pretty excited about the album here at Tumbleweave towers – heres a link to the previous post incase you missed it.

The first track of the trio (entitled ‘Wires’) is a great example of how the ‘Western’ and African musicians involved in the project have been inspired by eachother, and is surely set for big things on any self respecting dancefloor. On top of that the second of the three tunes available – ‘Margaret Okudo Dub’ is a much more layered and almost progressive take on things, and the strong 90’s element to it does the track no harm at all!

You can hear all three songs below, and as i’m sure you will agree the album is hotting up to be something extra special.

Thanks to Brownswood for the info.
