Hello Skinny – Revolutions Part 1

Perhaps not the archetypal Tumbleweave post, but Owiny Sigoma drummer Tom Skinner (aka Hello Skinny) is on fire right now and his latest productions need the attention they deserve.

Following on from his incredible ‘Harpoon Land’ remix, Tom is now plotting his return to creating original productions by announcing the Revolutions release (I’m as yet unsure whether to refer to it as an EP or LP).
The initial offering – and opening track – comes in the form of the moody, melancholy ‘Revolutions Part 1′. Taking its percussive influences from all over the place, the fluttering horn section that is introduced in the second half only adds to the mysterious and almost tribal feel.

Pre-order one of the 300 12’s right here, and get access to the full digital release when you do.
