Dancing Time with Soundway

Saturday 10th September. Get the date in your diary, because Soundway are throwing a party that is not to be missed.

The evening begins with a screening of ‘Black Goddess’ (a film that was written in Nigeria but shot in Brazil) who’s soundtrack was given a re-release by Soundway recently.

Following on from the screening, the night promises to take a more musical turn with a live performance from ‘The Cambodian Space Project’.

Things then begin to really hot up after the band and screening with sets from The Quietus DJ’s and Vamanos & A.J Holmes (of ‘..Hackney Empire‘ and the mighty Secousse). Then it is the turn of Chris Menist & Maft Sai (responsible for the mighty Sound of Siam LP, a track from which you can hear below).

The whole night will then be wrapped up (in style) by the man himself Miles Cleret, founder of Soundway Records. (Check out his ‘Tropical DJ’ mix here)

There is more info on the night below, but it promises to be huge so get your tickets whilst you can. (Incidently the ticket link contains posters, CD’s and all sorts of other goodies related to the party and the Black Goddess LP, depending on what you want to spend)
